Southern Israel remained under rocket bombardment on Tuesday morning as Gaza militants continued to fire of civilian targets. Over 140 rockets have been fired at Israel since the outbreak of the latest Gaza escalation three days ago.

A new iPhone app enables users to keep track of Palestinian rocket fire into southern Israel. The smartphone software sends a notification whenever an alert is sounded and is the brainchild of 13-year-old Beersheba resident Liron Bar. Color Red Alerts developer Kobi Snir volunteered to create the free app, and another volunteer, Yossi Yifrah, is providing updates.

Text of the message :Yesterday, the people of Iran, defying Khameneis warnings, went to streets in Tehran and other cities to press with their demand for regime change.
On Khameneis orders, the suppressive forces opened fire on the demonstrators. Dozens were killed. Thousands more were wounded or arrested.
Their only crime was demanding freedom. The world witnessed the final moments of a young girl, Neda, who was shot by the Guards in north Tehran. Her father was telling her in those final moments have no fear Neda! Today, the people have named the street as Neda.
With yesterdays crime, the mullahs regime entered an irreversible phase. At the same time, Iranians abroad, held a massive gathering in Paris in solidarity with the Iranian peoples uprisings.
NINETY THOUSAND Iranians echoed the slogans of those in Iran: death to dictator and long live freedom.
The Iranian peoples uprisings over the past week dashed the illusion about the strength and stability of mullahs regime. It clearly showed that the Iranian people are ready for democratic change.
The Iranian people, at home and abroad, have the same demand: an end to religious dictatorship. The only solution for Iran is democratic change, dismantling all suppressive forces and holding a free and fair election under UN supervision. I therefore, call on the UN Security Council, governments and international forums to the following:
1.Reject the mullahs’ sham election and appointment of Ahmadinejad. Compel the regime to accept a free and fair election under the UN supervision based on peoples sovereignty and not based on religious dictatorship.
2.Suspend all political and diplomatic ties with the mullahs regime until the suppression is completely stopped.
3.Impose a trade, diplomatic, arms and technology embargo on the regime.
4.Urge the UN Security Council to refer the crimes committed by the leaders of the regime, in particular Khamenei, to an international tribunal.
5.Impose a foreign travel ban on the regimes leaders

The terror group Hamas benefits from using its own people as human shields. When the IDF refrains from firing into densely populated areas, such as neighborhoods or suburbs, the terror organization becomes less vulnerable by default. Most of Hamas’ military infrastructure is purposely placed in the middle of Gaza City and scattered throughout crowded refugee camps, further putting civilians in the direct line of fire.

In this video, uploaded online by Hamas only two days ago, you can see rockets being fired from urban living areas in the Gaza Strip. These are the same areas Hamas operatives convert to terror sites and weapon caches.Hiding

US defense secretary Robert Gates said Tuesday night, April 27: “Hizballah has far more rockets and missile than most governments in the world.” He and Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak were talking to reporters after their talks in the Pentagon. Military sources did not see his as high commendation for Barak’s achievements as defense minister. All he had to contribute on this occasion was: “We do not intend to provoke any kind of major collision in Lebanon or with Syria, but are watching closely these developments.”
Gates went on to accuse Syria and Iran of “providing Hizballah with rockets of ever-increasing capability,” adding, “This is obviously destabilizing for the whole region and we’re watching it very carefully. blog it

The Islamist group Hamas is masterminding efforts to have senior Israeli leaders arrested for alleged war crimes when they visit European countries including Britain, a top Hamas official involved in the effort has told The Times.

The claim comes amid continuing diplomatic fallout after a British arrest warrant was issued last week against Tzipi Livni, who served as Foreign Minister during Israel’s Gaza offensive last winter. The warrant was withdrawn when it became clear that Ms Livni, now leader of the opposition, was not in the country. Its existence apparently prompted her to cancel a trip to attend a meeting in London. blog it

Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden described President Barack Obama as “powerless” to stop the war in Afghanistan, and Americans’ inability to grasp why the Sept. 11 attacks occurred has “cost you a lot without any result whatsoever.”
The remarks by the terrorist leader were released two days after the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that he ordered. Bin Laden typically addresses the American people in a message timed around the Sept. 11 anniversary.
Bin Laden, who is believed to be hiding in the mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, said current White House officials are merely following the strategy of former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney to “promote the previous policies of fear to market the interest of big companies.”
